Remove Stock from Group

Removes a single stock from a stock group.

Request parameters

  • Required: group_id (target stock group id), counter_id (stock counter id to remove from the group)
  • The request body is sent as a JSON body on the DELETE request.
  • See each field for its format, value source, and business meaning.

Result

On success, the stock identified by counter_id is removed from the stock group identified by group_id. See the 200 response schema for returned data and subsequent state information.

group_idstringrequired

Target stock group id that the stock is removed from.

Values are dynamic. Call GET /v1/datasets/refs/stock_groups to retrieve the current data dictionary, and use the returned entry's key as this parameter's value.

counter_idstringrequired

Stock counter id (counter_id) to remove from the group. It matches the counter_id in the records returned by the stock group details dataset (stock_group_details), and is usually taken from the detail record being removed.
